SESSIONAL YOUTH WORKER
New Citizens Gateway (NCG) is looking for a passionate and
experienced Youth Worker to support young
refugees and asylum seekers aged 11–21
(up to 25 for young people with additional needs).

We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people
- Passion for supporting refugees and asylum seekers
- Friendly, empathetic, reliable and culturally aware
- Able to create a safe and inclusive environment
- Creative and adaptable
- Sport, arts, drama or advocacy experience desirable
- Farsi, Arabic, Pashto or Kurdish desirable but not essential
What You'll Do
- Support and facilitate youth sessions
- Build positive relationships with young people
- Promote participation, confidence and wellbeing
- Support safeguarding procedures
- Support outings, sports and holiday programmes
- Assist with setting up and packing away sessions
