Advice & Information​

Our professional advisors offer both online and face-to-face advice on welfare benefits, housing, health, education and employment.

ESOL​​

We offer four types of ESOL courses ranging from Pre-Entry to Intermediate.

Our free English classes are open to all asylum seekers and refugees, and are hold both online and in-person. The duration of each course is 12 weeks.

Therapeutic Services​​

Our talking therapy service is designed to offer an trauma focused integrative counselling and emotional support service for individuals in exile whose first language is not English. We offer counselling in Albanian, Arabic, Dari, English, Farsi, French, Kurdish Sorani, Pashto, Punjabi, Somali, Turkish and Urdu.

Psycho-Social Activities​​

We assist asylum seekers and refugees connect with others in a welcoming environment via an ecotherapy group (gardening) and women’s group.

Both offer a fantastic way of practising English, learning new skills, and forging connections within the community.

Volunteering​​

New Citizens’ Gateway offers volunteering opportunities that empower refugees by fostering confidence, building community connections, and exploring career paths, helping them integrate and thrive in their new environment.

Youth Activities​

Our youth wellbeing service is designed to support the well-being of refugees and asylum-seeking young people aged 12+, with an emphasis on those who may have experienced trauma, abuse, and neglect.
